blood is fake

Great shot, the composition works really well making the picture very harmonic and pleasant to look at. The mood is really awesome, makes you think about a lot of questions (where did the blood come from? What happened up till this point? What's the character's relations to eachother?) ... also the the "interaction" between the models is great, the bystanderish emotionless look of the girl and the eerie almost arrogant look of the man, it really compliments eachother nicely. Also the usual lightning etc is well done. On the negative side, I think the blood could've been applied a bit more well and the blood on his hand does not seem to be applied in a way that would've been realistic. Nicely done photo
I love how the lighting casts an almost ghostly effect on the woman, providing the illusion of death by making her skin look pallid and corpse-like. The smokey gray eyeshadow really helps the effect and makes it feel almost as if Dissi were trying to make himself believe that she were still alive, ignoring her death by letting the makeup give her "life."
Er... anyway... Lovely, as always, Lesta.
